**This is MY opinion based on MY experience***We heard about the $1 raw oysters all evening so we decided to give them a try. We ordered 2 dozen as an appetizer and the steak for 2. The oysters were not worth the $1 a piece in my opinion. We had 2 put at least 2 or 3 of them on one cracker just to get the taste. The cocktail sauce and horseradish were good. They were out of the steakhouse mac 'n cheese, which I was personally looking forward to after hearing everyone talk about it. So, it was a salad and baked potato. We got our steak, which, despite being a little tough in certain spots (it was a sirloin), it had a great taste! However, our salads never made it to our table until we informed our server, who offered to make them to go and take off one of the oyster orders to compensate for the salads. When we got our ticket, I was told instead of taking off the $12 for the oysters, they took off the beer my husband ordered ($3). At this point I was ready to leave. The owner was sitting at the bar and never once stopped by to check on us. I can say, we have tried it, but probably won't be back. There's too many other restaurants closer to us that can offer better service and experience, especially for the price we paid.

The atmosphere was warm and inviting. We were there on a Friday night and it wasn't really busy but they had a big party. August was our server and she was really nice and polite. However, I believe they were under staffed. We waited about thirty minutes before we got our beverages.. their signature hushpupies were the bomb. The steak was very proportion and juicy although it was served cold. Overall, we had a pretty good experience and will return soon, during the week.

The food was great. The service was excellent. The only critique I have is that the steak marinade, although good, was a bit overpowering. So maybe use less or thin it out with something?

Just left this place but in a good way. First time eating here, will definitely be back. The onion rings for the appetizer were great. The steak was cooked perfectly. Love the atmosphere and staff is very friendly.
